Terms of Sale
Quotes, digital proofs, prices, lead times, warranties: the rules that govern our sales.
Last updated: October 17, 2026.
Purpose and scope
These terms of sale govern every order for custom inflatable columns and accessories placed with the website publisher under the Inflatable Column brand, hereinafter “Inflatable Column”. The publisher is identified in the legal notice. These terms are intended for businesses and not-for-profit organisations. Accepting a quote means accepting these terms.
If an individual consumer places an order, they also benefit from the statutory rights granted to them by the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the other mandatory consumer protection rules that apply to them.
Products
Inflatable columns are offered in several models (constant-blower, sealed-air, LED-lit), heights and diameters, printed with the customer's colours over their entire surface. The exact contents of the kit (structure, printed cover, inflator, carry bag, anchoring kit) are specified in the quote.
Images, illustrations and colours displayed on screen are not contractual. Colour rendering depends on the screen, fabric, printing and file supplied; colour references are given as a guide and a printing tolerance applies. Dimensions are accurate to within a few centimetres, the manufacturing tolerance of inflatable products.
Prices
Prices are stated in pounds sterling (GBP), excluding VAT, per unit, for a complete kit with printed graphics; VAT, where applicable, is shown on the quote. The “from” prices on the website are indicative: the applicable price is the one in the accepted quote. Delivery costs to the United Kingdom or any other destination, import duties and import VAT are shown on the quote.
Quantity discounts and options are shown on the quote.
Orders and digital proof
Orders are placed by quote: the customer sends a request, receives a quote and accepts it in writing. The accepted and paid quote constitutes the order.
Inflatable Column then prepares a digital proof: the exact mockup of the column as it will be printed. Nothing is produced before the customer approves the digital proof in writing. The customer checks spelling, text, colours and artwork position: an error approved on the digital proof does not entitle the customer to a free reprint.
The customer warrants that they hold the rights to the logos, text and images they have printed, and that these do not infringe any third party's rights or violate public order. Inflatable Column may refuse artwork that is unlawful or offensive.
Files
Files must be supplied in vector format (PDF, AI, EPS, SVG) or in high resolution at print size. If a file is not suitable, we let you know before the digital proof and suggest a solution.
Payment
Payment is made by bank transfer or by card through a secure payment link, at the time of order, unless another schedule is agreed in writing. Production only starts once payment has been received and the digital proof approved.
Late-payment terms for business customers, if any, are stated on the quote.
Lead times and delivery
The production and delivery lead time is stated in the quote and runs from approval of the digital proof and receipt of payment. It is given as an estimate; a delay does not entitle the customer to compensation, except where mandatory consumer protection rules provide otherwise.
Delivery is made to the address provided by the customer. On receipt, the customer inspects the package and reports any damage or missing items to the carrier and to Inflatable Column within 48 hours, with photos.
Using the columns
The customer uses the columns according to the instructions supplied: anchoring with ground stakes or ballast bags outdoors, deflating in strong wind, plugging the blower into a suitable outlet. The customer checks the applicable rules (height, footprint, required fire rating) with the organiser of a trade show or event. Damage caused by use that does not follow the instructions is not covered.
Cancellation and returns
Because the columns are made to the customer's specifications and personalised, they cannot be returned for a change of mind. For individual consumers, the right to cancel provided by the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 does not apply to goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised. An order can be cancelled free of charge until the digital proof is approved; once it is approved, production starts and the full order amount is due.
Warranties and claims
A product that does not match the approved digital proof or is defective on receipt will be replaced, repaired or refunded, at Inflatable Column's discretion after review, on presentation of photos and, if requested, of the product. Individual consumers also keep their statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
All claims should be sent to contact@inflatablecolumn.com or made by phone on +44 7488 845524.
Liability
Inflatable Column is not liable for differences in appearance inherent to printing techniques and fabrics, for errors present on an approved digital proof, for damage resulting from use that does not follow the instructions, or for indirect or consequential loss. Its liability is limited to the amount of the order concerned. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Force majeure events suspend the parties' obligations.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales; the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply. For business customers, any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless mandatory rules provide otherwise. Individual consumers keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the part of the United Kingdom where they live, and may bring proceedings in their local courts.
